Ringgit closes flat against US dollar on external factors

KUALA LUMPUR (May 30): The ringgit closed flat against the greenback on Tuesday, dampened by external factors as markets await the US debt ceiling vote by the US Congress on Wednesday.
At 6pm, the local note stood at 4.6005/6045 against the US dollar from Monday’s close of 4.6030/6060.
