Working Experience
Mr Quah Chek Tin was appointed as an Executive Director of Genting Malaysia Berhad ("GENM") on 15 January 2003. He was redesignated as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 8 October 2008. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, London before returning to Malaysia. He joined the Genting Group in 1979 and has served in various positions within the Group. He was the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of GENM as well as the Executive Director of Genting Berhad prior to his retirement in 2006. Mr Quah is presently the Chairman of Paramount Corporation Berhad and a Director of Batu Kawan Berhad.
