US consumers have a unique problem and no others have. They see a bad economy, but high interest rates and house prices keep going up , rental keep going up. How is this possible that bad economy and high interest rates give rise to record house prices?

this situation is because they don't built enough houses for the middle class. Now developers do not want to built because of high interest rates and high mortgages . Sellers don't want to sell because their own mortgages are at lower rates and rentals going up, prices going up. buyers don't want to buy, sellers don't want to sell. all u have are rentals going up., and homeless people increasing.
