Hengyuan Refining Co Bhd is engaged in refining and manufacturing of petroleum products in Malaysia. The company?s operating units in its refinery consist of two crude distillers, a long residue catalytic cracker, two naptha treaters and a merox plant, two reformers, and a gasoil treatment plant. Its product portfolio consists of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, fuel oil components, and chemical feedstocks like light naphtha and propylene. Its segment consists of manufacturing of petroleum products with all of the operations in Malaysia. Majority of its revenue is derived from the sale of refined petroleum products.

Mexico (AP) — Hurricane Hilary churned off Mexico's Pacific coast Friday as a powerful Category 4 storm threatening to unleash torrential rains on the mudslide-prone border city of Tijuana before heading into Southern California as the first tropical storm there in 84 years.
Forecasters warned the storm could cause extreme flooding, mudslides and even tornadoes across the region.

As expected Sifu cakap red QR leh. Revenue also drop leh. But ok lah. Belum banklap lagi. Rm3.00 is still the support belum pecah lagi. Not sure this time will pecah or not leh. Haiyoh. Correct?

The Major Turnaround has been completed in August 2023.
Next quarter will be another loss making quarter due to no production in July and most of August.

Good, now you are seeing what I saw a few months back. If I am not mistaken, the MTA was delayed for one week. That means another one week of no production. And with two main person leaving the refinery, that would be another set back. Don't think there will be any play for HY this year. Let it sleep for now.

Except for one year, the ROE of HengYuan Refining over the past 5 years is nothing to shout about. Last year was negative ROE Refinery don't seem to benefit from the high oil prices. Now why would you expect the share price to move from a fundamental perspective?
